2010 VCC EM "Building Healthy Family" Workshop
Rev. Kwon (L.A. Yonglak Church) will be providing a 3 hr. workshop on family relationship building. This is a part of the VCC church wide Christian Education Reformation campaign.

Hi-C NFL
FNL stands for Friday Night Live and if you have children who attend the Hi-C you are encouraged to send them to this weekly meaningful and fun-filled evening. Fantastic program includes bible studies, coffee nights, bowling, skating, outreaches, etc are in the works. FNL begins at 7 pm every Friday night. |

University Presbyterian Church Pantry
Just as God sees all those in need, we hope that we can say "we see you" and move into action. Please bring non-perishable food items in support of the UPC program. There will be a container in front of the main sanctuary for you to drop off non-perishable food. |

2010 Annual Golf
Tournament
Our annual golf tournament will take place at Shawneeki Golf Club on July 17.
Please contact Brian or Bruce for 2010 golf tournament.
2009 golf tournament was held at Shawneeki Golf Club.
2008 golf tournament was held at Shawneeki Golf Club.
2007 and 2006 golf tournament was held at Richmond Hill Golf Club.
2005 and 2004 tournament was held at Highlands Golf Club.
Approximately $2000 to $3000 is raised every year to support our church's mission field. |

EM Retreat
Thank you to all participants who joined our EM fall retreat. It was held at Maple Grove Christian Retreat Centre.

2009 Church Fall Festival
A church wide event was held on Labour Day Monday from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. A full day of activities and competition involving the entire church was held at Esther Shriner Stadium. We had more than 600 people attending this event.

We look forward to another fun filled, exciting activities that brings all church members together in 2010.
Winner was the Blue Team with score of 240 vs 190 by the Red Team. |

First Annual VCC EM Retreat (September 12-14, 2009)
What a fantastic weekend! Whether wasn't too great, but God has blessed us in so many ways. Great friendship, awesome bible study (Ephesians 4), memorable Talent Night, competitive outdoor games, splendid food (we missed rice and kimchi), inspiring songs...

Malawi Medical Mission - summer 2009
For those interested in the Malawi Medical Mission this fall, please speak with Dae Kang for more information.
South Africa Missions - 2009
The South Africa Mission Team consist: Sejin P, Angie S, Danny K, Andy K, Laura K and Jessica L. They left on July 10 and has returned on July 27, 2007.
Mission - China Summer Mission
This year marks the 7th mission trip our church makes to China. The team left on June 28 and has returned on July 24. We held English conversation classes for about 225 Chinese students at two high schools located in Guangxi Province. Our prayer was that through the Summer English Academy, the gospel of Jesus Christ will be proclaimed through our actions and our words. In particular, we want to see a church be planted in the city of Gongcheng.
Mission - Richard Chang's Long Term Mission to China
Richard has departed for his training on July 24. Continue to pray for Richard and his family and all of the missionaries in China.

in the basement nursery/preschool room.
